Having built a reputation as an expert in business development and strategic thinking in financial markets and execution strategies, Maria Adamjee has become a known commodity in financial services circles. She is skilled at helping market participants understand and navigate trending technology, the evolving broker landscape and new financial regulations related to Mifid II, CTFC Reg AT and Basel III. Within financial institutions she is credited for her work towards enhancing and promoting futures execution algorithms. She has worked for both FinTech firms, and institutional banks in a Business Development capacity helping to produce results towards their growth strategies.

  • Manage and support the creation of Project Inception Documents and Business Plans
  • Work with clients, customers or investors to ensure product satisfaction
  • Work with clients to develop and document new requirements
  • Perform demonstrations and presentations; and preparation of material
  • Produce, cost, and present change proposals
  • Build strong relationship swith prospects and existing customers/investors
  • Establish client brand by representing them at conferences and seminars
  • Support marketing campaigns through meetings, social media campaign, digital strategy, presentations, and investor relations. 



  • Optimization of Pitch Books, tear sheets and content collateral creation.
  • Generation of prospective investors through proactive outreach, existing relationships, and industry networking. 
  • Lead fundraising efforts for specific channels (i.e. RIA’s, high net worth, family offices, etc.) 
  • Research and target prospective investors 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective investors 
  • Travel as needed to generate prospective investors, represent the firm at industry events
  • Develop strategy around marketing campaign including competitive analysis, content marketing, digital strategy, presentation plans, social channel integration, vendor assessment and recommendations, strategic planning, investor pitching and relations.



  • Generate new leads by representing product during meetings and conferences
  • Drive revenue by acquiring new relationships
  • Manage all aspects of sales cycle from lead identification, prospect analysis, content management (RFI and RFP delivery) and bid proposal 
  • Understand product offering and promote how it can best serve each potential client 
  • Cultivate relationships with prospects through high-quality interactions including proactive and reactive calls, emails and follow-ups as well as limited in-person territory meetings 
  • Maintain a high-level of client service by answering inbound inquiries and working with the operations team to resolve specific account issues 
  • Work with management to establish a sales plan based on longer term growth potential
